Provided civil construction services for the state-of-the-art Western Cancer Centre at Dubbo Hospital, a vital healthcare facility for the region. Our team completed all groundwork and external civil works. The works were carried out adjacent to operating hospital departments, so strict safety, dust control, and scheduling measures were in place. Key achievements of this project included:
Site Preparation: Demolition of existing structures and comprehensive site clearing, followed by ground improvement and leveling for the new building footprint.
Underground Infrastructure: Installation of essential in-ground services such as sewer and water mains, stormwater drainage systems, and electrical/communications conduits tying into the hospital’s infrastructure.
Civil Works & Paving: Construction of new driveways, patient drop-off zones, and parking area with asphalt paving and concrete kerbs
External Works: Installation of footpaths, retaining walls, and landscaping around the facility to create a safe and accessible environment for patients and staff.
Live Environment Coordination: Careful staging of works and traffic management to maintain hospital operations and emergency access at all times during construction.
